Job Description

NextCare is one of the nation’s largest providers of urgent care services, operating over 140 clinics in ten states. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Representative in our corporate headquarters located in the Phoenix-metro area (Mesa). The position will be responsible for processing invoices, approvals, scanning at a high volume, and working well in a fast paced environment amongst other duties. Cross training in other areas will also be part of the job function.

 

  • Full cycle invoice processing, including obtaining approvals
  • Scanning invoices into Docuphase (cloud environment invoice retainage system)
  • Sort and distribute incoming invoices on a daily basis from email and US mail
  • Processing for patient refunds and some vendor payments
  • Posting of monthly ACH payments on a daily basis
  • Set up and maintain vendor records
  • Research statements, reconcile any invoice discrepancies/vendor contact if needed
  • Assist Accountants with month end closing when needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Processing monthly rents as well as using a dedicated lease software for this process.
  • Assistance with processing patient refunds and cutting checks for patients. 

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years in Accounts Payable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or similar Accounting application.
  • Working knowledge of Lecernix Lease system is a huge plus.
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Strong communication, planning and organizational skills. The ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and 10 key by touch.
  • Desire to work in a challenging, fast-paced and high volume environment
  • Self-motivated with minimum supervision
